a friend of mine has a friend that was diagnosed with cancer after coming back from a sports competition overseas.
it was the suddenness of it that scares us.
can u imagine being healthy and sporty and normal.. studying in school like any other 20 year old kid, and suddenly its like there's a big comma in your life.
your whole womb is taken out, you have to go through painful therapies and you have to stop school for awhile. suddenly you can't have babies anymore and you don't know what lies ahead.
i had a good cry just trying to put myself in her shoes. just too scary.
that probably made everyone around her appreciate life so much more right now.
what is panicking about school about?
what is whining about how hard life is about?
