was packing my study room earlier today. and i felt really bad when i was throwing away cd-roms. those that are so old, they're not compatible with coms now.
i was really a pampered kid i would say.
i may be more sensible now, but i know i'm still pampered.
at primary 1, dad bought me a barbie playhouse kinda cd-rom dat cost $43+. (saw e receipt dated 1995)
that was what triggered me. being a kid, i had no sense of what expensive was. toys i liked, my dad would buy. tho i do believe to remember not being too spoilt to want things over $100. but still, thinking back.. *shrugs
plus all the other things i'm throwing/recycling away just makes me think - gosh, how did so many things get accumulated here. so many things we dont exactly need. sigh.
if u guys know of any place where i can dump all my still good conditioned books to be sold/given to poorer people, tell me.
does salvation army accept books as well?
or must i wait till e end of the year where ntuc used to have such book giving and taking thing. is there still such a thing?
oh wells. at least of all those clearing, 80-90% of it will be given to the recycling company and not the thrash company, so i'm pretty at ease in the midst of feeling horrible about all the waste of money.
now my study-room has less things, but it isn't exactly neater. lol. anyway. try again nx time. haha.
anyway, my driving test is on th 27 of July! if i pass, i'll get my license. GOOD MAN.
